London Open House 2009 this weekend!

Hi all,

Just a reminder to everyone that London Open House is this weekend. It is a great chance to walk around and see some of the capitals best architecture.

I've been to the event for around 5 years now and I'm going again this year.

A few tips:

• Pick a popular building first and get there early to avoid the big queue
• Bring a jacket, water and comfortable shoes
• pick building that are close together to avid wasting time traveling
• Finally, enjoy the day!

As I'm sure many Londoners know, once a year in September London opens some of its hard to see doors to the public for London Open House. This year I wandered around Fleet street before heading up to Portland place. I only had a morning, as that evening was the Thanksgiving Ball.
